Clark’s first day at the Daily Planet strongly begins as he and Lois are thrown together on a story when, outside the office, a bus explodes. Clark manages to save Bette in time. She is a young girl who has similar abilities with Chloe. Meanwhile, Chloe raises the interest of a paramedic who has just arrived in Smallville, Davis Bloom.
